About Me

I work for Hahn Family Wines, however, this blog is entirely outside the purview of my work with Hahn Estates.  There is overlap on subject and experience, but the views written about here are solely, expressly mine and mine alone.  The winery has their own blog which I also contribute to, however, I don’t think you could mistake my content between the two blogs if you looked at it for 15 seconds.  So in the interest of full disclosure, this blog is a separate blog, the purpose of which is to connect bloggers, wineries and consumers in new and beneficial ways for all wine lovers with the benefit of social networking, Web 2.0 tools and the people who love and talk about wine.

The Hahn Family Wines’ Marketing Team, in addition to traditional pursuits, produces internet content, video, html.e-campaigns, blogs, web sites for and about wine, wine lovers, virtual buzz, wine reviews online, and so much more to tell our brand stories and sell more wine.

While I started at an administrative desk with Hahn Family Wines some years ago, I then moved into the Marketing Department, spearheading the New Media content and participation online for awhile until another move brought me into the Sales Department for Hahn Family Wines.  In my current position, I support and manage National Accounts  as well as host trade guests at the winery.  There they learn more about the Hahn wines, the Santa Lucia Highlands and our amazing winemaking & vineyard team.  This latest work in sales has me away from my computer and social media far more than I could have imagined and more on the front lines of the wine frontier;  Sales.

Not to be completely nit-picky, but…

The grammar and syntax here are terrible. You really ought to clean this up.

Theater, film, and wine are all valued for their sensory impact and emotion. Great background for the wine industry!

    Hmmm, Jeff.
Well, I did a bit of editing as my content needed adjustment as well. So yes, I smoothed out the communication. Thanks for the critical eye. Too bad you didn’t leave any link or I’d have thanked you directly.

You are a big reason why so many great things are happening. Thank you so much for playing “match maker”!

Most Welcome, Rick. Your talent (and Lesley Russell’s brilliance) makes this particular synchronicity easy…
